The unpleasant news about the slowdown in housing construction continues. The Pestel Institute recently published a regional study containing figures for Bonn and the Rhein-Sieg district. Accordingly, around 2,350 new apartments should be built in Bonn per year by 2028. According to the institute, 3,300 apartments should be built in the Rhein-Sieg district, which has about twice as many inhabitants, to meet the expected increase in demand and to compensate for the already lost apartments.
