Ciudad Juarez.- The Museum of Archeology and History of the Chimizal (MAHCH) became an exciting center of learning and fun during the “Biological Experience in Your Museum” event, organized by the Institute of Culture of the Municipality of Juarez (IPACULT).
The activity, which was held yesterday, Saturday and Sunday, brought together many families, providing interactive and educational workshops for girls, boys and youth.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of topics that included urban gardening, fossils, fungi, microscopy, stuffed animals, mapping mammal tracks, in addition to studying endemic species and natural phenomena such as volcanoes.
In addition, tours of the Chimizal Garden were carried out, and the “Message to the Earth” activity contributed to enhancing environmental awareness among the participants.
The project “Bio-Experiment in Your Museum” was designed by a group of students from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB) of the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), under the supervision of Arly Vianney López Guzmán, who expressed his satisfaction with the interest shown to young people in science.
Free admission allowed many families who attended the Chimizal Garden to participate, making the event a celebration of knowledge and learning.
