City of Juarez.- Investigative authorities identified two men who were murdered and placed in the back of an abandoned truck on the Juárez-Chihuahua highway, at Kilometer 145.

Both victims were from Hermosillo, Sonora, the home state of the Ford F150 pickup according to its license plate.

Brandon Paul LO, 19, and Gonzalo Salvador OT, the names of the two young men who were killed, were in the back of the vehicle, both covered by the tires.

The unit has registration number UW-3260.

The Attorney General’s Office’s State Investigation Agency confirmed the double murder, after travelers reported the abandoned van.

Municipal police from Ahumada were also present at the scene, bringing the list of murders in Juárez to 52.

The statistics are increasing because it is the jurisdiction of this municipality, said a source from the Prosecutor’s Office.
