City of Juarez.- Two men accused of stealing more than $2 million worth of materials from a maquiladora were linked to a trial today.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office of the North Zone District Prosecutor’s Office linked the process against Víctor Manuel GF, and Ismael QM, for the crime of aggravated robbery, committed to the detriment of an electronic components manufacturing company, located at the intersection of Intermex and De las Torres Streets, in Ciudad Juárez.
The Control Judge, taking cognizance of the criminal case, issued his resolution, after validating the evidence collected in which the accused was related to the events recorded from May 31 to August 5 of the current year, in “Scientific Atlanta Mexico.”
At the location, the defendants who work as employees confiscated 402 modular data processing machine circuits and 602 flash memory cards, the value of the items was 2 million 211 thousand 957.70 dollars.
For this reason they were reported and arrested by the Investigating Police through an arrest warrant.
In addition, the Judge approved a preventive measure in the form of preventive detention and set a period of four months for the closure of the supplementary investigation.
