The suspect in the murder of a neighbor in the Rozogi commune has been charged

Jacek Z., a 52-year-old man from the Warmian-Masurian commune of Rozogi, was charged with two counts on Sunday, including murder with a firearm. The victim is a neighbor of the suspect from the same village. The prosecutor’s office has not yet disclosed the motive for the crime.

Jacek Z. heard murder charge firing two gunshots at the injured Mirosław B., which resulted in the victim’s death on the spot. The second objection concerns direct criminal threats against police officers who interveneto force them to leave the prison – Daniel Brodowski, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Olsztyn, told PAP.

As it was found out, Jacek Z., 52 years old, for reasons not yet explained, entered the property where the injured party was and shot him with a gun, hitting him in the back.

Mirosław B. tried to escape, but fell. As soon as he was lying down, the suspect approached him and fired a second shot directly into his head.

Daniel Brodowski reported that Jacek Z. pleaded not guilty and gave explanations. The interrogation lasted several hours.

The prosecutor’s office has not yet provided information about the possible motives for its actions. It has filed an application with the Szczytno District Court temporary arrest of the suspect for three months.

Report of the body of a man lying on one of the properties of the Rozogi commune, the police received on Friday afternoon. At the scene, it was discovered that the alleged perpetrator of the crime was also at the scene and was hiding in one of the buildings when the police saw him.

Police arrested the man on Saturday morning. It was only reported that “the arrest was dynamic” and no one was injured during the action.

Earlier, for several hours, police secured the property where the suspect was staying. He made no attempt to contact police negotiators and was not persuaded to leave the building voluntarily.
