The family of King Willem-Alexander is in eighth place on the list of the richest families. Last year it was still eleventh.
Princess Mabel and Prince Bernhard also appear individually on the list of the richest Dutch people. The wife of the late Prince Friso is in 121st place with an estimated fortune of €455 million. It owes this fortune to its stake in the payment platform Adyen.
Five hundred richest
Prince Bernhard is 450th on the list with an estimated fortune of €150 million. He earned this through real estate, as co-owner of the Zandvoort circuit and with his software company Levi9.
The five hundred richest Dutch people together own almost €253 billion, a record for the Quote 500. To be included in the list, people must have an estimated net worth of at least €130 million, and the lower limit has never been higher.
CEO of Bunq
The biggest provocateur is Ali Niknam from the online bank bunq. He is now twelfth in the ranking. His fortune grew by 800 million euros to 2.5 billion. Heineken heiress Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken remains the richest person in the Netherlands. Its assets have again slightly decreased to 12.1 billion euros.
