For everyone Squid game fans, there is some exciting news. The special teaser for the second season has finally been released. The clip was revealed at Netflix’s annual Geeked Week fan event. The video takes us back to the end of Season 1, where Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) abandoned his plans to travel to the United States and resolutely embarked on a new mission. The short clip shows him back in his uniform surrounded by new players. In addition to Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-ju and Gong Yoo will reprise their roles in the upcoming season. This popular Korean show has a worldwide fan base. Squid game revolves around people in financial difficulties. They join a deadly game to win a huge cash prize where losing means death. The makers also dropped the teaser on Instagram with the caption “The game never ends. Are you ready to play? THE SQUID GAME SEASON 2 arrives on December 26.”

Just like Season 1, Squid Game season 2 directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, who is excited about the upcoming show. “I have a lot on my shoulders, but I’m making sure it’s worth the wait,” he told Netflix.
Executive producer Kim Ji-yeon also spoke with the OTT giant about how the cast and crew are “pouring their hearts out” into filming Season 2. He said, “The cast and crew really pour their hearts and souls into filming the movie. The second season. I hope you stay tuned and support us!”
In addition to the returning Actors Squid Game Season 2, several new faces join the ranks. Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yuri and Won Ji are set to appear in the upcoming season, according to Variety .
The first installment Squid game consists of 9 episodes. The show premiered on Netflix in September 2021.
