President Kaczyński admitted on Monday that he was pleased with the mobilization of citizens and called for the “collection to continue.” He suggested making “permanent, even modest” payments, for example. The point is that there should be many people who support us, because there are relatively few people who can donate a lot. However, there are many people who can deposit amounts of 20 or 30 PLN without any harm to themselves. – said Kaczynski.
The PiS politician declined to provide the specific amount that has been raised so far, only admitting that it is “large”.

The National Electoral Commission rejected the financial report of the PiS commission for the 2023 parliamentary elections and alleged irregularities in the financing of the PiS campaign in the amount of PLN 3.6 million. The party’s subsidy will be reduced by PLN 10 million and it may also be deprived of subsidies for three years.
PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński also spoke in an interview with wPolce24 about the upcoming presidential elections. As he reported, his party limited the selection of candidates to five people. PiS is to present it “probably somewhere a little later in the fall.”
The politician admitted that among his party colleagues there were supporters of running a presidential candidate only once the Civic Platform candidate was known. Kaczyński himself is not a fan of this solution.
After all, they have an advantage (KO – ed.) – when it comes to media and reaching public opinion, they have much more money. – he argued.
The former prime minister also admitted that his party intends to merge PiS and Sovereign Poland. During the autumn congress, the following events will take place: the new organizational division of the PiS leadership. According to information from PAP, it will most likely happen on Saturday, September 28th.. Kaczyński announced that PiS plans to create a new body that will “coordinate various types of party activities more vigorously.” President Kaczyński sees it as a place for “many young people who are today somewhat hidden, although they are very active”. In his opinion, such a measure will “dynamize the party”. It’s not true that we are an old generation, let’s show that – he announced.
Kaczyński also intends to “check the party” from the point of view of the activity of its members. Who is really in it and who is just in it as a title – he explained. He admitted that PiS wants to be more open to new members who want to join the party.
When asked about the coalition’s capabilities, Kaczyński drew attention to two parties – Confederation and PSL. The Confederation is a formation that constantly attacks us. It fiercely wants to create a situation in which it is the main right-wing party. – he said. He also recalled that after the elections, PiS proposed “a far-reaching agreement with the PSL, with the post of prime minister (PSL leader) Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz”. We were ready, but the PSL was focused on completely different solutions – he admitted. He also noted that “of course anything can change in politics.”.
