The remaining 36.4 percent (2.4 thousand) medical certificates of illness were issued for a period of one to five days. Compared to 2022, the number of sick leave certificates with code “C” increased by 7.6%, and those issued for a period of one to five days, by 12%.

In 2023, among the documents with code “C”, the highest percentage were certificates of people between 30 and 49 years old, representing 61.8%. Most of the time, dismissals were granted to men (approximately 75%), especially those between 40 and 44 years old (18.7%), and to women between 30 and 34 years old (22.3%).
