Some of the weirdest places to live in the world may not be completely out of reach, as there are many extraordinary homes for sale right now.
The UK’s most popular property website Rightmove has now published their Most Viewed Homes for July.
However, not everyone seems to want to live in a mansion, as the most popular home this summer was a medieval castle in the Italian countryside, but the rest of the properties were located within the UK.
Tim Bannister, property specialist at Rightmove, said: “As the summer holidays approach, our most viewed home this month is a castle in the Italian hills.
“From historic mansions to a remote Scottish island, it’s clear why these properties have captured the attention of house hunters this summer.”
Medieval Castle in Italy – €790,000 (£678,675)
Valdengo Castle is a historic castle located in the hills of Biella, Italy and is the most viewed property on Rightmove this July.
This elegant castle dates back to the Middle Ages and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, and is only two hours from both France and Switzerland.
Valdengo Castle has a total of 45 rooms, with 29 bedrooms and six bathrooms, also with historic decor.
However, this beautiful castle needs to be renovated and modernized in order to live in it, as both the room and some of the floors need to be completely renovated.
