Israel bombs targets in Lebanon and Yemen
Israel intensified its hostilities against Iran’s allies in the region. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine said that three of its leaders were killed in an attack in the Al-Kula area of Beirut. Reuters reported, citing witnesses, that the attack targeted the upper floor of the residential building. According to the agency, the Israeli army did not comment on the case.
Reuters notes that the increasingly frequent Israeli attacks against Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthi militias in Yemen have raised fears that the fighting in the Middle East will spiral out of control and involve Iran and Israel’s main ally, the United States, in the war.
