For years, Android users had to wait for the Play Store to complete installing or updating apps/games on their devices because they could only install/update one app/game at a time. However, since April, Google allowed users to install two apps at once, and now Google lets users install or update three apps or games at the same time through the Play Store.
If you have more than three pending updates and you click “Update All”, Play Store will start downloading and installing updates for three apps or games at a time, and the status of the rest will be displayed as “Pending”.
Google appreciates the fact that users can update or install up to three apps at a time as it helps save time by reducing the waiting period. Google is yet to make an official statement on the same, but it seems like the search giant has started rolling out the feature more widely. We have it in India, but not on all devices, which means that it is a server-side switch and just having the latest version of the Play Store on your device does not guarantee that you will be able to install/update three apps at the same time.
