Ukrainian Armed Forces Face Off Against Russian Army
The Defence Forces’ aviation, missile and artillery forces carried out 26 attacks against areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
During the day, 226 military clashes took place on the front, mainly in the Pokrovsky and Kurakhovsky directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on September 20.
It should be noted that the aviation, missile and artillery forces of the Defense Forces carried out 26 strikes against areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, as well as two control points, three missile and air defense systems, two air defense systems and three control points of unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to the General Staff, three military clashes took place in the direction of Kharkov, in the Volchansk and Tikhoe areas.
There were 13 battles in the Kupyansk direction. The defending forces repelled enemy attacks on Sinkovka, Stelmakhovka and Glushkovka.
In the direction of Liman, the Russians attacked 28 times near Makeyevka, Cherneshchina, Nevsky and Torsky.
In the Seversky direction, eight clashes took place near Verkhnekamensky, Ivano-Daryevka and Vyemka.
In the direction of Kramatorsk, the Russians attacked three times in the Kurdyumovka and Ivanovsky areas.
In the direction of Toretsk, the enemy attacked 14 times near Toretsk, Shcherbinovka and Nelipovka.
In the Pokrovsky direction, 41 attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Novotoretsk, Grodovka, Mirolyubovka, Nikolaevka, Novogrodika and Marinovka. The enemy involved aviation in the battles.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, near Tsukurino, Georgievka, Konstantinovka and Ekaterinivka, 63 attacks were repelled.
In the Vremovsky direction, the Russians carried out six attacks near Ugledar, Rovnopolye and Katerynivka.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the enemy carried out six attacks in the areas of Pyatikhatki, Rabotino and in the directions of Novoandreevka and Novodanilovka.
In the direction of the Dnieper, three military clashes with the enemy took place in the island zone of the Dnieper Delta.
Earlier it was reported that there were fierce battles in the Kurakhovsky direction near Tsukurinoye, Georgievka, Konstantinovka and Ekaterinivka.
As reported, the Ukrainian army killed 1,340 Russian invaders in the past 24 hours.
