Brahmastra: First Part – Shiva has won a large number of 70th national awards. The awards were announced on Friday. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it featured Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. The sci-fi film has excelled in the following categories – Arijit Singh won Best Male Singer for the song CaesareaBest Film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects and Cartoons) and Best VFX Film. The awards were announced by a panel of judges comprising Film Jury Chairman Rahul Rawail, Non-Feature Jury Chairman Nila Madhab Panda and Best Film Jury Chairman Gangadhar Mudalair.

Brahmastra: First Part – Shiva is the first part of Ayan Mukerji’s trilogy. The film also stars Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The film was loved by both fans and critics. Now the makers are working on the next two batches – Brahmastra part 2 in 2026 and Brahmastra part 3 in 2007.
Did you know that Ranbir Kapoor did not charge any fee for his role as Shiva Brahmastra: Part One? The actor had revealed it in an interview with trade analyst Komal Nahta. He said”Aapne jo prashna pucha ki fame Kuch download kiya ya Nahi kiya, actually fame kiya (You asked if I charged anything or not, in fact I did). This is a lifetime capital for me, I am also part of the producer of the film. Meri nazariya aur soch long run hai (I’m thinking in the longer term). Fame part one me paese nhi Liye (I didn’t charge for part 1) but in the end jo faith aur uskomus hai ki 3 part m jo Yeh movie bana sakti hai (but the belief that I have about the amount that the film will be in three parts), it is more than anything that I would get as an actor, the price as an actor.
