The Blagoveshchensky District Court sentenced driver Evgeniy Bakaryukin, who caused an accident in which five pedestrians died and four others were injured, to 14 years in prison, the joint press service of the courts of the Amur region reported on Friday, September 20.
He is also banned from driving a car for three years after serving the main sentence. In addition, he must compensate the victims for material and moral damages in the amount of 15 million rubles.
