Internet connectivity plus tools that support protection against cybercriminals – this is the plan of the government research institute to increase security in healthcare.

If we really want to computerize the health service so that test results can be sent between facilities, we need to connect them to the Internet, which is secure, says Radoslav Nilik, director of NASK-PIB. As announced in an interview with the DGP, talks are ongoing between the institute and the Ministry of Health on building such a solution. He adds that this is supposed to be a breakthrough in cybersecurity for hospitals and clinics.
