The contract has been signed. Amia will buy more Polish drones

The subject of the executive agreement concluded between the State Treasury – Armament Agency and WB Electronics SA is the delivery of 6 sets of FlyEye Unmanned Aerial Systems to the Polish Armed Forces. The value of the contract is approximately PLN 24 million gross.

FlyeEye for the Polish Army

FlyEye is a versatile unmanned system produced by the Polish company WB Electronics SA, which is used in a wide range of missions. Thanks to advanced sensors such as electro-optical and thermal cameras, the system allows for accurate recognition both during the day and at night.

Thanks to its compact size and ease of use, FlyEye can be quickly deployed anywhere. Its operational range is up to 50 kilometers and its maximum speed is 120 km/h. In addition, this drone can be launched from virtually anywhere, even from a boat.

One of the FlyEye’s greatest advantages is its modular design. Thanks to this, it can be easily adapted to various tasks, for example by changing the type of observation head. It is equipped as standard with a television and thermal imaging camera, which allows daytime and nighttime observations.

FlyEye – how to use it in the army?

FlyEye has already found wide application in the Polish military. Used for:

  • Battlefield observation: Thanks to its high image resolution, the drone allows precise recognition of the area and detection of hidden threats.
  • Fire control: Accurately identifying artillery targets increases the effectiveness of the attack and minimizes the risk to your own soldiers.
  • Border Patrol: Continuous observation of hard-to-reach areas allows detecting illegal crossings and suspicious activities.
  • Critical Infrastructure Monitoring: Protection of strategic facilities against sabotage.
  • Search and rescue: Quickly locating missing people.
