Designs for Tecno’s next-gen foldable smartphones have now surfaced online via a promotional banner that was accidentally leaked by the company. The banner, which announced pre-sale dates and deals for the phones, was briefly active on the company’s official social media account. A promotional banner shared by Tecno Ghana on X (formerly Twitter) has revealed the pre-order dates for the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2, as per a report by GSMArena. The poster claims that the phones will be available for pre-order from August 19 to 24.
The post has since been deleted, but the publication managed to grab a screenshot in time. The caption under the post allegedly claimed that pre-orders for the phones can be placed in Ghana through Tecno Exclusive stores or accredited retailers.

The banner revealed the designs of the expected foldable smartphones. The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 is seen with a rectangular rear camera module that seems to house three camera sensors alongside an LED flash. The engraving on the camera island suggests that the phone has a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor.
As you can see in this photo, the book-style foldable model opens a full 180 degrees. The outer screen has a centered hole for the front-facing camera, and the bottom edge has a USB Type-C port.
Meanwhile, the Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 can be seen with a rectangular screen and two circular rear camera units arranged vertically in the top left corner. There, we can also see a pill-shaped LED flash unit. It’s not clear from the image whether the screen wraps around the camera modules.
The banner also confirms that the phones will support 5G connectivity. A stylus, likely paired with the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2, is also shown in the banner. It is currently unclear whether the phone will ship or if the company will sell the accessory separately.
