Saturday is the penultimate day of the BNP Paribas Green Film Festival – an international eco-friendly film festival held in the capital of Lesser Poland since 2018. The list of winners of the 7th edition was announced in the evening. The screening of the award-winning films in four open-air cinemas in Krakow will take place on Sunday.

Ceremonial ceremony took place on Saturday night 7th BNP Paribas Green Film Festival awards ceremonywhich was broadcast on RMF24. Here are the winners in each category:

  • Best Documentary Short Film – “Disaster on a Plate”, directed by Marcin Anaszewicz
  • Best Polish Film – “Robbed of the Land”, directed by Magdalena Krukowska
  • Best report – “The Godfather of the Oceans”, dir. Martin Boudot, Hugo van Offel
  • Best short fiction film – “Free Cow”, dir. Marek Gluszczak
  • Best Documentary Feature Film – “Atomic Time”, directed by Oliver Stone
  • Grand Prize – “The White Plastic Heaven”, dir. Tibor Banióczki, Sarolta Szabó
  • Best Feature Film – “The White Plastic Heaven”, dir. Tibor Banióczki, Sarolta Szabó.

On Sunday, August 18, the award-winning films will be shown in four open-air cinemas in Krakow.: We Love Cinema Cinema Central (Czerwieński avenue, at the height of Koletek Street), Cinema Kameralny (Czerwieński avenue, at the height of Nadwiślan courts), Kraków City Children’s Cinema (Czerwieński avenue, at the height of Smocza Street), Galeria Krakowska Cinema in Nowak Jeziorański Square.
