The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Adygea reported that the spring-summer tourist season in Adygea is coming to an end.
According to the department, more than 4,500 visitors from the region got acquainted with the sights and natural monuments of the region. Tourists most frequently visited the Caucasus Biosphere Reserve and the Lago-Naki Plateau. However, it was not without tragedies. During the spring-summer season, 20 tourists died and 30 were saved. Hundreds of people were also reported injured.
Earlier we reported that more than 200 thousand people visited Adygea in the summer season, the press service of the RA Committee on Tourism and Resorts reported. The upward trend in the flow of tourists will continue not only in Adygea, but throughout Russia starting in 2021. In recent years, at least half a million people come to Adygea on vacation every year.
