The District Prosecutor’s Office in Głogów announced that it is conducting an “investigation into the physical and mental abuse with particular cruelty of a 30-year-old woman in Gaiki, near Głogów, through deprivation of her liberty, combined with particular torment.”
The perpetrator, Mateusz J., 35, has been charged.
The woman’s ordeal lasted from… January 1, 2019 The torturer should keep her inside unheated pantry with limited access to food. The woman was deprived of hygiene products, running water, electricity, a bathroom and other public services, as well as a telephone. She also had no access to light.
A 35-year-old man physically abused a woman. He hit her with his fist and various objects on her face and body, kicked her, choked her, pushed her, pulled her, twisted her arms and pulled her hair.

The woman was enslaved by the man to such an extent that she agreed to everything. When she was pregnant, he took her to the hospital in Nowa Sól and after giving birth she gave the child up for adoption. – says the portal.
Over the course of four years, the 30-year-old left her cell phone behind on several occasions, including when the 35-year-old broke her arm.
I couldn’t tell the doctor the truth, I was scared, and he threatened me that if I complained it would get even worse. – said the woman in an interview with myglogow.pl journalists.
He put a balaclava on me so I couldn’t see where we lived while he took me to the hospital. It was the same when he took me out at night to wash. Sometimes he would just hose me down, but if I obeyed, I got warm water. – she added.
On Tuesday, a 35-year-old man took a woman to the hospital after dislocating her shoulder. It was then that she finally decided to speak out about the horror she was experiencing.
The man could face a prison sentence of 5 to 25 years.
