That is how Paweł Szopa was brought from the Dominican Republic to Poland. Services showed the record

Paweł Szopa, who was issued an Interpol Red Notice and a European Arrest Warrant, was arrested on October 25 in the Dominican Republic. He was brought back to the country on Wednesday and received by CBA officers at Warsaw airport.

“Minister Adam Bodnar thanked the prosecutors who led the proceedings, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and the police for their close cooperation in the effective return of Paweł S. to the country. After midnight, CBA agents took the detainee to Katowice. He spent the night in the PDOZ,” informed Jacek Dobrzyński on X, adding to the footage the wanted man being brought back to the country.

Searching for Pawł Szopa

According to information obtained by “Rzeczpospolita”, Szopa on October 21 reported to immigration services in the Dominican Republicwhere he informed that he was wanted by Interpol and intended to return to Poland.

Szopy’s lawyer therefore submitted a request to Interpol to withdraw the red notice, but the man was detained before this request could be considered.
