The first place among the most popular television channels in the second month of summer holidays went to the TVP1 channel. The channel’s average daily share increased by 15.2 percent compared to August 2023. percent and amounted to 7.96 percent. – according to Nielsen Audience Measurement data obtained by the Wirtualnemedia.pl portal. Channel One gained mainly thanks to the broadcast of the Paris Olympic Games, which aired until August 11 this year. TVP1’s biggest success was the Poland-France match, in which the Polish volleyball team won its first Olympic medal since 1976.
Polsat remained in second place – but its share fell from 6.48 percent to 6.10 percent. TVN rounds out the podium after its share fell from 6.41 percent to 5.65 percent. TVN24 rose from fifth position to fourth position. However, its result fell by 2.74%. In turn, TVP2’s share decreased by more than 19 percent and fell to fifth place.
