TEJA condemns Corral for hidden enrichment

Chihuahua, Chih.- Former governor Javier Corral Jurado was sentenced for hidden illegal enrichment and for this reason, by the State Administrative Court.

Former vice president Omar Bazán Flores, who was legally the third party to file a complaint in the matter, said he hoped Corral would not appeal the sentence and that his immediate disqualification from public office would become final this year. The sentence against the former governor was imposed by TEJA some time ago and disqualified him from holding public office for one year. Corral currently serves as a Republican Senator.
