A few weeks ago, Tecno’s Ghanaian subsidiary made the mistake of posting pre-order details for the company’s upcoming foldable phones ahead of schedule. That post was quickly deleted, and there are still no official details on when both phones will be unveiled. However, you can get an unofficial peek at their revamped designs thanks to this leak.
The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 (model number AE10) will be powered by the Dimensity 9000+ paired with 12GB of RAM, as revealed on Geekbench. The internal display will have a resolution of 2000 x 2296 px, the same as the original V Fold. The battery will be larger at 5,610 mAh (up from 5,000 mAh).
The Phantom V Fold 2 is rumoured to cost GHS 16,550 for the 12/512GB unit. That works out to $1,055/€955/£810/₹88,500.

The Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 will be significantly different from its predecessor – the round display on the case will be replaced by a more traditional rectangular display. Unfortunately, it’s not on in these photos, so you can’t see its size and shape, but based on the FCC diagrams, it will cover the back from side to side, and the dual camera lenses will be punched out in it. This model will also get a bigger battery, 4,490mAh (up from 4,000mAh) and faster 70W charging (up from 45W).
The Phantom V Flip 2 model number is AE11 and it will be powered by a Dimensity 8050 processor. The 8/256GB device is reportedly priced at GHS 9,800, which works out to $625/€565/£480/Rs 52,500.
