Zeenat Aman never misses an opportunity to glimpse her life, not only through Instagram photos but also through detailed captions. On Monday, the veteran star shared a photo of herself sitting in a hotel room, wearing a white robe and placing jewelry on the bed. In her caption, Zeenat Aman shared how she still gets nervous before attending an event despite spending 50 years in the limelight. He wrote: “Before every event or performance, I try to find a quiet moment while preparing. You’d think 50 years of public life would inoculate you against butterflies and jitters, but that’s simply not the case.”
The actor mentioned that he has turned the preparation process into a “meditative ritual”. Zeenat Aman described: “So I’ve turned getting ready into a meditative ritual. A hot shower, a fluffy robe, then careful practice on the placement of my jewelery and accessories. And finally submission to the hair and make-up artists. I start off as the perky Aunty Z and emerge as The Zeenat Aman. This is a regular metamorphosis for everyone for those of us in fashion and entertainment.”
Zeenat Aman also revealed that the photo was taken by her son Zahaan Khan, who is her travel companion. She shared, “I don’t travel with any entourage as such. Only Zahaan and sometimes Cara (Zahaan’s partner). And that too now that I know my age. It’s a great comfort to have a loved one close at hand when you’re in a strange place. Zahaan Khan only got this moment a few days ago before the Shantnu & Nikhil x Gray Goose couture show in Delhi, my outfit for the night was also lovely, but I am waiting for pictures from the event team, so I can’t share the look with you yet.
Zeenat Aman ended her note by wishing everyone a good week and mentioning how she “cheekily” showed her legs in the frame. “My working hours are irregular, but for everyone from nine to five – I wish you a wonderful and profitable week. It’s Monday. Go get them! PS: At school we were told that good girls don’t show their knees, so I feel quite cheeky showing them on Instagram! he wrote.
