He said, “It’s incredible to think that a whole new generation will experience the magic of Maine Pyar Kiya on screen! It’s a timeless love story and connecting it to young hearts today is like watching the film come to life. I’m excited to see how Gen-Z resonates with the pure, simple romance we portray.” .”

Recalling the buzz surrounding the film after its release, he noted, “It was life-changing for me in every way. Personally, it made me a household name, and professionally, it opened doors I never imagined. But more than that, the film created an emotional connection for me with the audience that is still alive today. It’s rare for an actor to have one, and I feel truly blessed.

He continued, “I think some stories are timeless and Maine Pyar Kiya is one of them. However, there is something sacred about the original as well. It represents an era and a kind of love story that is unique to that era. While it would be exciting to see what the modern version would look like, I personally feel that the original magic should remain intact. Some classics are best left as they are.”

Maine Pyar Kiya was Bhagyashree’s Bollywood debut film.
