Singer Conrado Pouza dies at 45

Singer and composer Conrado Pouza died on the evening of Thursday 19, at the age of 45. The artist, who overcame leukemia in 2022, had been hospitalized for a week at the Casa de Saúde de Santos, on the coast of São Paulo, due to complications from the disease. COVID-19.

Conrado Pouza suffers from health problems

In 2022, Conrado was diagnosed with acute leukemia and started a social media campaign for blood donations. The following year, he underwent a bone marrow transplant. In July 2024, he celebrated his successful recovery with a performance at the Teatro Guarany.

On that occasion, Conrado Pouza gave an interview to TV Tribuna, an affiliate of Worldwhere he spoke about his recovery. “It was a miracle, victory went hand in hand with the city,” he said. “Even the doctors didn’t explain it, I didn’t go to the ICU once, it was normal. I don’t know how to explain it. I think it was God, love, faith.”
