Silvia Abravanel opened her heart about the loss of her father, Silvio Santos, on Hora do Faro, airing this Sunday (9/29). Emotionally, the presenter shared that she allows herself to feel all the emotions to deal with her grief.
“We live one day at a time. We allow ourselves to experience this sadness and emotions. We went through this whole story 20 days before the whole of Brazil. We couldn’t tell anyone what happened,” he said.
She also said she heard the news of Silvio Santos’ death at 6 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, and found it difficult to accept. “I expected him to come home and my sister told me he had rested. It is very hard to believe what happened,” she said emotionally.
“He is my father, my master, and after God, my best friend,” he said, highlighting his closeness to Silvio Santos. For Sylvia, humility is the biggest lesson she learned from the TV icon.
