CDMX.- Claudia Sheinbaum will travel to Acapulco, Guerrero State, on Wednesday to personally attend to the flood emergency caused by Hurricane John.
This will be Morenista’s first tour as President of the Republic.
In a message via networks, Sheinbaum specified that he would go Wednesday afternoon with his government to hold an evaluation meeting with the governor of Guerrero state, Evelyn Salgado. “I have agreed with her (Salgado) to be with the Cabinet on Wednesday afternoon, to make an assessment and plans to continue providing all necessary assistance to Guerrero,” he said online.
“Similarly, we will continue the support provided by the government of President @Lopezobrador_ to Oaxaca and Michoacán due to the devastation caused by Hurricane John. We are humanitarian governments.”
Sheinbaum stressed that the authorities, especially the armed forces, did not stop helping the population and supporting the victims.
