The life-size doll of Mexico’s next president, Claudia Sheinbaum, is 1.70 centimeters tall and is made from 12 spools of 250-gram thread and 150 meters of wire to facilitate her mobility in her clothing that offends her personality.
The Sheinbaum figure has three costumes, one of which is black pants and a jacket with a white blouse and a presidential ribbon; that’s how they think she’ll dress for her inauguration. Also, among the details, she has a red bracelet on her left hand as seen on Sheinbaum in all her photos.
Meanwhile, the Monumental Lelë Doll, which measures 2.3 meters when sitting, and whose body base is made of wood for stability, is trying to meet the specifications for setting a Guinness Record.

“It is the largest Lelë doll in the world made with amigurumi, but it could also be considered the largest amigurumi in the world, we saw it, but it certainly passes, both as a Lelë Doll, although perhaps because it is an Otomi from Querétaro it may have difficulties because it is not international, but the amigurumi pieces are a crochet method that is done all over the world, so we are going to raise the record so that it can become a Guinness record in 2024, ”explains the owner Pilar.
The two works took a total of 55 days to create and involved 34 people, 32 women and two men; 10 of whom dedicated their efforts to weaving the figure of the next Executive leader.
