Akshay Kumar’s latest release Khel Khel Mein hit theaters on August 15. Khel Khel Mein Director Mudassar Aziz expressed his confidence in Akshay’s career development saying that the actor will “find his way” soon. In an interview with The Indian Express Mudassar Aziz said, “I am too young in film journey to comment on a person as big as Akshay Kumar. He has 33 years of entertainment behind him. He steps out every day to prove his talent and stardom. He has a very thoughtful mind, so he is not sure that he will solve the Rubik’s the cube, which is why I say it’s temporary is permanent.”
Comparing Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan, Mudassar Aziz added, “He will find his way. It has happened too many times before. It has happened with Shah Rukh Khan. Sahab for five to seven years. Unfortunately, we live in a society where firing someone is very fashionable. But regardless, I, as a filmmaker, share my experience of working with him. My experience with him has been exhilarating for someone who likes to do comedy and make everyone in the audience laugh, which is my fuel.”
Akshay Kumar plays the role of a plastic surgeon Khel Khel Mein. The film tells the story of seven friends who meet for dinner, but end up revealing each other’s secrets. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal and Aditya Seal in lead roles. The project is a remake of the 2016 Italian film, Perfect strangers.
