Actors Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde have wrapped up the shooting of their upcoming film Deva, the makers announced on Wednesday.
Touted to be a powerful action thriller, the film is directed by famous Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrews, Udayananu Tharam and Notebook fame.
Roy Kapur Films, which has produced Deva in association with Zee Studios, shared the news on Instagram.
“And that’s the wrap! Get ready to witness Deva’s electrifying action soon,” the studio shared along with a photo from the film’s set, where Kapoor and Hegde cut a cake.
In a statement, the makers said the action film ended with an energetic song sequence choreographed by Bosco Martis and shot over four days in Mumbai.
Hegde, who is known for films like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Most Eligible Bachelor and Beast, also posted about the completion of the film on his Instagram.
The actor shared a photo of a handwritten message he received from the team thanking Hegde for his performance and dedication towards the film.
“The cutest. Thank you @roykapurfilms #DEVA #itsawrap,” the 33-year-old actress wrote alongside the note.
In the upcoming film, Hegde plays a determined journalist, while Kapoor takes on the role of a rebel cop who gets embroiled in a high-profile case that exposes a tangled web of fraud and deceit.
The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on February 14, 2025.
