Seven students sitting on a bus on line 601 were injured in an accident in Bonn-Auerberg on Monday morning. The police announced this. At around 7:10 a.m., a truck collided with the bus carrying several schoolchildren on Friedrich Wüller Street. The affected students are between 10 and 15 years old.
According to previous police investigations, the 62-year-old truck driver may have overlooked the bus on Route 601 when it pulled off the side of the road. The force of the collision caused the bus’s windows to shatter. Five children were injured as a result of falling glass shards, and two others were injured as a result of the collision. A ten-year-old boy and a twelve-year-old boy were taken to hospital for outpatient treatment. Police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
