SENIGALIA – The story that kept Senigallia (Ancona) in suspense this morning ended in the most tragic way: the 15-year-old boy who left his house armed was killed. He shot himself with the gun of his father, a traffic policeman on shift in Senigallia. The boy was found dead in a farmhouse near Montignano, the village where he lived with his family.
The 15-year-old left home, according to what has been revealed so far, after a domestic dispute that took away his father’s gun. Searches began immediately, thanks to a tip-off from the family; the carabinieri had mobilized, raiding towns and rural areas. Schools were alerted for fear that the boy had other intentions: a warning was issued not to let students out, even in the garden for recess.
Instead, the 15-year-old turned the gun on himself and killed himself. Police are on the ground searching, also using helicopters, drones and dog teams, especially in the area of Marzocca and Montignano, two villages in the south of the city.
