Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series Heeramandi: Diamond Bazaar received two nominations in the Asia Contents Awards and Global OTT Awards organized by the Busan International Film Festival.
It is set in India’s pre-independence era, Heeramandi: Diamond Bazaar started streaming on Netflix from May 1, starring Manisha Koirala, Sharmin Segal, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha and Sanjeeda Sheikh. The cast played courtesans whose plot revolves around their lives in the red-light district of Heeramand in Lahore during the British rule.

The Asia Contents Awards and Global OTT Awards 2024 ceremony will be held at Busan Cinema Center’s BIFF Theater in South Korea on October 6.
