City of Juarez.- An old garbage truck caused traffic chaos this afternoon on Santiago Troncoso Street when its rear axle broke.

It was a 1972 Ford “dummy” going east to west and when it reached Acadia Street, it outweighed the old truck and the rear axle broke.

The sand load spread across these routes causes a “bottleneck” because only one route can be passed.

No injuries were reported and other dump trucks arrived at the scene to remove the scattered sand.

Finally with the help of a crane, it was moved from its location and road traffic was cleared.
