Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra dimensions leaked, suggesting slimmer but taller design compared to Galaxy S24 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to launch early next year as the company’s flagship smartphone. The South Korean tech conglomerate is said to be bringing in a number of design changes, including a larger screen. The alleged phone is said to now have a slimmer profile compared to its predecessor, but it could be taller, according to claims made on social media by a tipster. Interestingly, another recent report highlighted that all the phones in the Galaxy S25 lineup will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Dimensions Leak

The information comes from tipster Ice Universe, who revealed the dimensions of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in a post on X (formerly Twitter). According to the tipster, the phone will measure 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm, meaning there will be minor changes to its form factor.

It’s worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra measures 162.3 x 79.0 x 8.6mm. This potentially means the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be 0.4mm thinner and 0.4mm taller than its predecessor. However, this leak also implies that it could be nearly 1.4mm narrower than the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Compared to all previous “Ultra” models, the Galaxy S25 Ultra could be the thinnest mobile phone to date.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Specs (Expected)

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could feature a larger 6.86-inch display, thanks to thinner bezels. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which is expected to launch next month. The phone could have 16GB of RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

In terms of optics, the alleged Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature an updated quad rear camera setup, consisting of a 200-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel sensor with 5x optical zoom. Meanwhile, its ultra-wide-angle and telephoto sensors are also expected to receive an upgrade to 50-megapixels. It could be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
