Samsung Galaxy A16 5G battery capacity revealed

The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has passed the Geekbench test not once, but twice, and with two different chipsets – the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and the Samsung Exynos 1330. Now, thanks to a Chinese 3C certificate, we have learned what its battery capacity will be.

It’s no surprise to anyone that the Galaxy A16 5G will have a 5000mAh cell (certified as 4860mAh rated capacity, advertised as 5000mAh typical capacity). That’s the de facto standard for most Android smartphones these days, so it’s not shocking. That’s the exact same capacity as the Galaxy A15 5G.

Two versions of the Galaxy A16 5G with two different SoCs will likely launch in different markets, although it’s unclear what Samsung stands to gain from this strategy. Speculators have speculated that the Exynos variant will land in Asia and/or Africa, but nothing is confirmed at this point.

The Galaxy A16 is set to go official in December, if recent rumors are to be believed. So there’s still plenty of time for leaks to reveal all of its specs until then.
