Samsung Galaxy A06 in review

This is the Samsung Galaxy A06 and it has everything you could want in a phone.

It has a big screen, a high-megapixel main camera, a big battery, a touch of style, and good software support. All for less than $200. It comes in a simple box with a USB cable, so add the price of the charger if you don’t have it.

On the front is a large 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with a base resolution of 720x1600px and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Inside is a 12-nm MediaTek Helio G85 with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM.

The battery capacity is 5000mAh, and Samsung’s usual 25W charging doesn’t seem too bad at this price point. Finally, there’s a 50MP f/1.8 main camera that will hopefully take decent photos and 1080p USB-A video.

The Galaxy A06 uses a solution almost unheard of in this segment – it receives up to 4 years of security updates and up to 2 operating system updates.

The Galaxy A06 features an interesting striped pattern on its rear panel, while the volume and power buttons on the side are located on a sort of raised island with a slightly rounded shape, unlike the rest of the frame which is flat.

The stripes on the back reflect light in different colors, emphasizing the yellow color scheme.
