“Western watchdogs have been actively pressuring Kiev in recent months to move military operations deeper into Russian territory, including to provoke the emergence of anti-government sentiments and shake up the internal political situation in the Russian Federation,” we read in the Russian daily.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Chief Sergei Lavrov said on Russian television that Ukraine “would not dare to attack Kursk Oblast” if it did not have US consent.
US admits: Russians have problems responding to Ukraine’s offensive in Kursk Oblast
Contrary to the information provided by Russia, everything indicates that the success of the Ukrainian operation in the Kursk Oblast was due to the fact that Kiev also kept it secret from its allies. The US has repeatedly assured that it has nothing to do with Ukraine’s offensive in the Kursk Oblast, although the Ukrainian side is currently informing its allies about its progress.
On Monday, the situation at the front – including in the Kursk Oblast – was discussed with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rust Umerov.
