The Polish army has deployed its fighters close to the eastern border in the morning due to Russian strikes in the western regions of Ukraine. The announcement was made on platform X by the Operational Command of the Armed Forces (DORSZ).

“This is another very busy night for the entire air defense system in Poland due to the observed activity of the long-range aviation of the Russian Federation, carrying out “attacks on objects located, among others, in the western territory of Ukraine” – it was written.
The announcement said there could be an increase in noise levels in the southeastern part of the country due to the start of operations of Polish and allied aircraft in our airspace.
DORSZ emphasizes that the last heightened activity of Russian long-range aviation was recorded on the night of September 1-2.
“All necessary procedures to ensure the security of Polish airspace have been launched and the Operational Command of the Armed Forces is continuously monitoring the situation,” it was assured.
