The event “Discovering the world at a metro station” was held at the new Troitskaya metro station with the participation of RUDN students, the press service of the Moscow Metro announced on Thursday, September 19.

At the Peoples’ Friendship University station, they held a dance masterclass, spoke about the culture of the Arab East, and organized other events together with several faculties of the university. Moscow Deputy Mayor for Transport Maxim Liksutov said that more than 500 passengers took part in the celebration of the opening of the new station.

“The Moscow metro is not only a reliable and fast means of transport, which we are developing on the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, but also a popular cultural platform,” the Moscow Metro VK page reports of the deputy mayor’s remarks.
