Rocket alarms were triggered this morning in the Israeli coastal metropolis of Tel Aviv and other cities in the country. Sirens blared almost all over central Israel, as the Israeli army announced on the online platform X. A rocket fired from Lebanon was intercepted in the Tel Aviv area. No further details were initially given.

The Israeli army is engaged in armed conflict with the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon and its allied terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip, both of which are supported by Iran.
