Marcin Dzienniak as a member of the board of directors and chief operating officer of Ringier Axel Springer Poland will be responsible for the areas of business transformation, media products, AI and broadly understood technology.

Marcin Dzienniak comes from the PKO BP group

For the past three years, Marcin Dzienniak has been Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Chmury Krajowej Operator, founded by PKO Bank Polski and the Polish Development Fund.

From 2018 to 2020, Dzienniak served as the Director of Application Development at PKO BP and also managed the Road2Cloud technology transformation program. Previously, he was associated with consulting firms Accenture, BCG and Aviva Europe, where he implemented transformation projects in the financial sector.

Marcin Dzienniak began his professional career during his studies as a software engineer at Sawan (now part of Asseco). He graduated in computer science and econometrics as well as in finance and banking at the Krakow University of Economics and the executive leadership development program at Stanford University.

In addition to Aleksander Kutela, the board of directors of Ringier Axel Springer Polska also includes Vice President Jovan Protic (he took up this position last autumn), Monika Remiszewska and Krzysztof Stopa.

In 2023, Ringier Axel Springer Polska with a decrease in revenues of 0.2% to PLN 661.58 million, achieved an increase in net profit from PLN 33.48 to PLN 36.3 million, among others. thanks to the lower amount of income tax paid. The company earned slightly more from print media and less from online advertising.
