The sounds of gunshots echoed throughout Rua Regis Pacheco, in the Uruguay neighborhood, located in the lower city of El Salvador, and left residents in terror on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 1st. Local residents “swarmed” the streets and recorded the moment the blood-covered suspect was put into the car and rescued by military police officers.

In the video, the photographer can still be heard saying that “the police enter the neighborhood just like this, and they actually shoot,” while recording the situation and the protest with the community.
