Research carried out by the Real Time Big Data institute at Manaus City Hall, commissioned by Record, suggests that a dispute in the second round of the municipal elections could be between David Almeida (Avante) and Roberto Cidade (União Brasil).
In the stimulated scenario, David Almeida appears in first place, with 32% of voting intentions, followed by Roberto Cidade, who has 22%. In third place, Amom Mandel (Citizenship) has 16%. The material was released on Monday (23).
In the spontaneous method, Cidade and Amom were technically tied, as the União Brasil candidate got 15%, while the Cidadania candidate got 12%.
The institute interviewed 1,000 people aged 16 and over in Manaus, on September 20 and 21, 2024, with a 95% confidence interval. The survey was registered on the TSE with the number AM-01611/2024.
