Thirteen workshop employees decided to go on strike after receiving from the Emil Frey group, a vehicle distributor, a pair of socks, worth 12 euros each, while they had been demanding a salary increase for several days to cope with inflation, as well as the thirteenth month, with its administrators.
“We are growing by 1.5% per year while inflation is at 2-3% year-on-year in July. The Emil Frey group, the owners of the garage, are still making money… And they pay us in pairs of socks. That makes everything burn,” admitted one of the employees.
