Xiaomi is all set to announce a new smartwatch in India next week – the Redmi Watch 5 Active. The wearable is set to debut on August 27, and Redmi India has shared several teasers of the device, confirming most of its key specifications.

The Watch 5 Active will feature a rectangular 2-inch touchscreen display — most likely an OLED panel. It will also support Bluetooth calls from a paired phone, and Xiaomi is also touting a Clear+ call feature that likely helps with noise reduction.

The Redmi Watch 5 Active will reportedly offer up to 18 days of battery life between charges, which is impressive, though that likely comes with the battery saving option activated. The watch will run Xiomi HyperOS with built-in Alexa voice assistant integration and will offer tracking for over 140 sports modes. We also expect the usual wellness metrics like heart rate, SpO2, and sleep tracking.
