Redmi Note 14 Pro could reportedly feature Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC processor and triple camera

The Redmi Note 14 Pro is expected to launch soon alongside the Redmi 14 and Redmi 14 Pro+. In recent weeks, there have been rumors suggesting various details about the upcoming phone. A new leak suggests that the Redmi Note 14 Pro could be powered by the recently launched Qualcomm processor. While it is expected to debut in China and globally, there could reportedly be slight differences between the models launched in both regions.

Redmi Note 14 Pro Specifications (Expected)

According to a report by XiaomiTime, the alleged Redmi Note 14 Pro could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset under the hood. The processor debuted recently, promising 20 percent better CPU performance and 40 percent faster GPU performance over the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Additionally, it also supports artificial intelligence (AI) thanks to a dedicated AI engine.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro is rumored to feature a triple camera setup, but with slight differences between the Global and China versions. The Global model is speculated to feature a telephoto lens, while the China-specific variant could sport a macro lens. The smartphone is said to be internally codenamed “Amethyst” and the model number is O16U.

Previous reports have suggested that the Redmi Note 14 Pro camera module could feature a 50-megapixel “large” primary sensor. It was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website under model number 24094RAD4I, suggesting its imminent launch in India.

All variants of the Redmi Note 14 series are expected to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display. If the rumor turns out to be true, it means that the standard model could feature an improved display compared to the 1080p screen of the Redmi Note 13.

Moreover, the Redmi Note 14 series has reportedly been spotted in the IMEI database, suggesting a September launch. Renders of it have also surfaced online, suggesting that it could feature a redesigned camera module, matching the design of the Xiaomi 14 series. It also appears to have curved edges, compared to the flat design of its predecessor.
